SouthsideCentral has learned that the Danville Museum of Fine Arts & History has asked Danville City Council to take back the Confederate flag that’s currently on the grounds. Sources tell me that the Museum plans to make a permanent exhibit featuring the flags of the Confederacy instead.<\/p>\n
This decision was approved by the museum’s Board of Directors in the last few days.<\/p>\n
This is a developing story and we’ll update this when we learn more about what’s going on.<\/p>\n
