It’s good to see a young person come back to the Southside region and want to make a difference. Will Pace is one of those people and SouthsideCentral supports his candidacy strongly.
I met Will Pace about a year ago, and immediately liked him. He’s the legislative aide to House of Delegates member Charles Poindexter, but our paths hadn’t crossed until a Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors meeting. Pace immediately recognized me and came over to talk. He had no business to handle at the Board of Supervisors meeting. He was just there as a spectator, keeping track of what was going on. Let’s be real, we need more people to do that.
I quickly discovered that Pace lived for both the political world and for serving the people. I talked to politically savvy friends and found that Pace has done a good job for Delegate Poindexter and really works on constituent service. With that in mind, I wasn’t totally surprised that Pace decided to run for Chatham Town Council.
Pace has went to every house and door in Chatham to talk to the voters about himself, his candidacy and his ideas for keeping Chatham on the great path that the town has been on for a long time. Chatham won’t make any headlines for problems or scandals in the coming years… and Will Pace won’t do that either. Pace’s advocacy and desire to give back to the community are perfect reasons to elect him to Chatham Town Council. His youthful enthusiasm will only help the town as it continues to grow. He’s the right man for the job.
SouthsideCentral gives our highest endorsement to Will Pace for the Chatham Town Council and strongly encourages Chatham residents to vote for him on Tuesday, November 8th.
