Dan River District Friends of Scouting Wild Game Dinner Fundraiser (Part #2)

Earlier today, we published Part #1 of a PhotoCentral series from Thursday night’s Wild Game Dinner Fundraiser hosted by the Dan River District Friends of Scouting. The event was held at the Big Sky Ranch in Caswell County. District Commissioner Steve Adkins was kind enough to get us some photos from the event, and we’re glad to publish these articles so you can see what happened.

The menu for the Wild Game Dinner was: frog legs, wild turkey bites, catfish, mahi mahi, dove, duck, quail, pheasant, venison tenderloin, venison sliders, wild boar BBQ, and boudain. OK. Now I’m hungry. Let’s start where we left off in Part #1.

You’re guaranteed to find a comfortable spot at the Big Sky Ranch.

The Big Sky Ranch is available for rental for any of your needs.

Here’s some more of the silent auction items donated by local businesses.

Lots of guests showed up for this fundraising event.

More of the guests…

And more…

Everyone enjoyed trying wild game meats that they had never had before.

Alan Larson, CEO of Danville Regional Medical Center, was the keynote speaker for the event.

After the dinner was over, guests went outside to enjoy the scenery.

This guy was having a nice grass dinner on his own.

We hope you’ve enjoyed this inside look at Thursday night’s “Dan River District Friends of Scouting Wild Game Dinner Fundraiser”. We give our special thanks to Steve Adkins for getting these photos to us. We look forward to next year’s event!
