I’m putting this article in the “RottenReporting” category, but it’s really not Reporting nor is it Rotten. It’s just a lame throwaway thing to laugh at. Meh.
Without this piece of news, we might have forgotten what the moon looks like.
One of our readers sent this one to us this afternoon from the Star News Facebook page.
Although news content is naturally slow on Christmas Day, factoids like the first two lines provide throwaway content that’s harmless and mildly interesting. However, it’s sort of amusing to imagine a group of people sitting around their computer screen staring at that graciously provided photo of the full moon and having a “celebration”.
Or maybe it’s a photo of a honeydew melon with blighted spots.
Heh.
Since this will not happen again for 40 years, I was hoping to catch a glimpse. I appreciate your friends at Star News for showing us what we missed. ;>))
