TYOB!: Epiphany Episcopal School’s Roasting & Toasting

Are you looking for a “Thing You Oughta Be” doing on Friday night, November 20th? Its time for Epiphany Episcopal School’s annual “Roasting & Toasting” fundraiser. SouthsideCentral will be there on Friday night and we hope to see you there. Tickets are still available, so let’s take a closer look at this “Thing You Oughta Be” doing!

Epiphany Episcopal School is located at the corner of Danville’s Main Street & Jefferson Avenue and offers private education for grades Pre-K through 8th. The school offers scholarship assistance to families who can’t afford the full cost of a private education, so they hold fundraisers throughout the year to help. This Friday night at The Gentry Farm, it’s time for the annual “Roasting & Toasting” event.

For the ticket price of $45, you’ll get…

  • Unlimited oysters
  • Passed appetizers
  • Low country Boil (Seafood & Non-Seafood option)
  • Dinner Buffet – (including Mrs. Miller’s tenderloin rolls… I have to tell you those are worth the ticket price by themselves.   Last year Mrs. Miller auctioned off a holiday dinner for 12 that included them and it sold for $1,000. Seriously.)
  • Homemade, gourmet cupcakes.
  • Wine, Beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.

There will also be live entertainment and a big Silent Auction filled with unique items. “Roasting & Toasting” is ran by Epiphany Episcopal School parents. That’s the volunteers, music, food, silent auction…  everything! All proceeds will be used for the Parent Council Transportation & Technology fund for the school.

The event is at The Gentry Farm, which is right off Clarks Mill Road. That’s right past the Danville city limits as you’re traveling on 58 East.

Want to go? Call Epiphany Episcopal School at 434-792-4334 and reserve your tickets now! Corporate table sponsorships are still available, just call the school for details on that. It’s going to be a “Shell Of A Time”, and SouthsideCentral is glad to help the school get the word out about the event. We love roasted oysters, too!
