Danville’s murder problem apparently has moved to Martinsville.

I’ve having trouble understanding this. So there’s a big party which leads to the inevitable “altercation”, and then two people not involved in the “altercation” get shot and killed? Or something like that?
It’s pretty clear that the guy who did the original shooting was about to get a fatal case of lead poisoning himself because he took off to the Fredericksburg area. Maybe Fredericksburg should use that as a slogan to attract tourism? Once the shooter learned that Martinsville police had opened up a jail cell for him away from enemy bullets, he gladly jumped right in there (and to stay for a very long time, until he’s probably killed in prison).
Two drug-related murders a few months ago in Henry County, and now this in Martinsville. For the first time in a while, I can say that I’m glad that Danville is now trailing Martinsville in a statistical category.
And, here we see the difference between a blog and an actual news source.
