Our friends over at Star News (WGSR) did a little investigation after some Eden (NC) residents were taking about a disturbance at Eden’s City Hall last Friday night.
Eden rents out its City Hall for parties and community get-togethers but this one got out of hand. The police came and shut the party down, but that’s when Demarcus Lee Kellam made a ver bad mistake by telling Deputy Police Chief Greg Light the above quote. He left the party.
In handcuffs.
Kellam was charged with Disorderly Conduct (because stupidity isn;t a crime). 😀
Bring back the old days. One cop, one gun, one baton and a big can of whoop ass. Crime stats will drop quicker than you can say “I ain’t leaving”.
