SouthsideSpotlight: An Introduction

First, I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for reading this feature on SouthsideCentral Blog. Also, a sincere thank you goes out to Mr. Southside himself for allowing me to write this introduction and inaugural article.  It truly is an honor to be trusted with this responsibility.

During my conversations with Mr. Southside, I found that he wanted to start a feature on SouthsideCentral where local, everyday business people could be showcased.  This idea led me to the idea now called SouthsideSpotlight.  From here, we begin our journey of featuring local businesses from the SouthsideCentral area. Please stop by often. We appreciate all of our readers.

there is Mennonite bakery in SoBo in shopping center across from hospital. everything is delicious, especially the cinnamon & sticky buns.

is this the type of info you want?

Mildred’s Meals in Kenbridge has the best home cooking in America. and the homemade chocolate meringue pie is to die for.

(does it seem I enjoy food?)

    Kelley,

Our bakery in South Boston is Windmill Farms Bakeshop. You are right, it is wonderful. Soup, sandwiches, breads, rolls, donuts, cookies, birthday cakes, are all yummy and reasonably priced. Thanks for the Halifax plug!

    Hope to see you soon.
