This could be Tim Kaine’s last visit to the Southside VA area as Governor.

Governor Tim Kaine will be at the Grand Opening of the Virginia Workforce Center at Danville’s Nor-Dan Shopping Center on Monday from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. He’ll make a speech along with Daniel LeBlanc (VA Workforce Services) and Sherman Saunders (Danville’s Mayor).
I’m betting that this will be Kaine’s last visit to the Southside area as governor, and I’ve got an OddsMakers of 85% that he’ll never set foot in Southside VA again (Looking at you, Whitt Clement!)
UPDATE: Seems like fog grounded His Excellency’s flight and he didn’t make it to Danville after all. However, he did make it to South Boston later in the afternoon to do the exact same thing. I’m trying to find out if he drove… um, was driven to South Boston. If so, couldn’t he have made a 30 mile detour and gotten home a few hours late? The only excuse I’ll accept is if he wanted to get home in time to watch Monday Night Live. 😀

For the past 4 years Tim Kaine hasn’t done jack squat to bring jobs to southside Va now on his way out he comes here. I am really glad Tim Kaine is on his way out but I sure hope he keeps working for the DNC he is doing a great job getting Republicans elected.
