Poke…Poke…Poke…Pokey!

Shall we go over to Eden and take a look at a bizarre police case? Trust me, it’s worth the trip.

From our friends at the Eden (NC) Police Department…

On Friday, November 13, 2009, Delores Servin of 1234 Fieldcrest Road, Eden, N.C., was arrested on a warrant service for Assault. Servin did unlawfully, willfully and feloniously assault and strike Stephanie Prunty, a school employee of Draper Elementary School by poking her on the shoulder three times with her fingers. At the time of the offense, the victim was discharging the duty of supervising children at an off-campus school function. She was released on a written promise. She is scheduled to appear in Wentworth District Court on December 10, 2009.

Let’s take a look at the poker.

All righty… could this one get any more bizarre? Oh, hell yes it can!

On today’s WGSR (Star News) newscast, Delores Servin called up and was angry because the TV station showed her mugshot. Anchorman Mark Childrey politely explained to her that the station covered all news and that she was indeed considered news because she was charged with assaulting a school employee. When he offered her the chance to tell her story live on-the-air, she said “No Comment”. 😀

Yeah, she also said that she didn’t watch the news to see what other people did, she had better things to do with her time. Hilarious! Mark Childrey was about to bust a gut. Beautiful! I mean the way he handled it, not Ms. Servin..
